Who is Pauly3?
Many people ask, "Why Pauly3?" Pauly because my name is Pablo/Paul and 3 because I am the third. Three generations of Paul Arredondo. I take much pride in being the third especially after being blessed by the Lord above with a wonderful Father, Grandfather, and Family.
I have created this site mostly for diversion but also to have a presence on the Web. The internet is something that has interested me since I first got online back in 1996, using the old school dial-up modem running at 14.4kbps. In the summer of 2007, I graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, where I received my Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Information Systems. I also work Full-Time for Time Warner Cable as a Tech Support Supervisor. Well feel free to browse about freely and send me some feedback if you can. I always appreciate your comments no matter whether positive or negative, they all help!
Family
I was born on May 26, 1980 in Eagle Pass, TX where I was raised by my Awesome Parents (Pablo and Leticia) of whom I am the most proud of. I have only one sibling an older sister "Cindy" who is almost 5 Years older than me. Growing up in Eagle Pass was cool it's a small town but a good place to raise your kids. I lived there my whole life until the sum-mer of 2002 my Sister and I moved up to San Antonio, it seemed like from one day to the next we were driving up Hwy. 90 from Del Rio where my sister lived and unpacking a U-Haul into an apt. I am so grateful of my sister for giving me the chance to come to San Antonio and live with her, not that I didn't like Eagle Pass, but the job market is rather small. In June of 2003, my beautiful niece Briana Sofia was born, she has changed the lives of all my family, she is a God Sent Gift.
Schooling
I attended public schooling growing up from Kindergarten, through Elementary, Junior High all the way up to High School. I graduated from High School in 1998 and the following Fall I enrolled in Southwest Texas Junior College. I attended SWTJC from 1998 up until May of 2002 when Cindy and I moved up to San Antonio. In the fall of 2004 I went back to school after a 2 Year Hiatus, I enrolled at The University of the Incarnate Word. I finished my last semester during the Spring of 2007 graduated in the summer of 2007. I participated in the December 2007 Fall Commencement Excercises at the Convocation Center located on campus at The University of The Incarnate Word. Man this achievement seemed so distant but I am so happy to be here now.
Hobbies
I was involved in Summer Baseball almost every year of my life from 7 years old all the way up until 16 years old. In Junior High I also played football in 7th and 8th Grade. At the age of 12 my Parents bought me my first drum set and that's when I discovered something that still burns strongly within me, "Music". I used to beat the drums everyday and slowly but surely I learned to keep a beat, follow a beat, finally learning what it was to be a drummer and join a band. Of course my other true love is working with computers and the internet.
Music
In 10th Grade my best friend (Ernest Cervera) and I made our own band, the name of the band was "Vida Tejana". This band was compromised of guys our age and damn were we good! We competed in several Battle of the Bands and always placed very well nothing lower than 3rd Ever. That band lasted about 2 Years and then our guys moved on to bigger and better bands. That was when I joined La Formula and played with them for about 3 Years. In 2001 I joined a band named JAPY, this band was none like any other and touring with this band I experienced some of the best things in life. It was great to go play and see so many people just jamming to your music. While in this band I met so many people in so many towns and got the chance to jam with so many damn good musicians. In 2003, I left Sprint and began to dedicate a lot of my time to JAPY and music, recording in the studio and just playing all the time. At this same time I began playing with a very popular Latin band in San Antonio named "Metal" this was a mind boggling experience because all those guys are freaking great musicians. In 2004, JAPY kind of just dissolved as all the guys got a stable job and put music on the backburner. Man do I MISS those days.
Jobs
Growing up I was a "Roadie" for Garza Sound Systems, my neighbor Beto Garza, brought me on very young and I used to go and help them setup before the gig, then I would work the lights during the gig and of course break down at the end of the night. I will always appreciate Beto for giving me this opportunity and for allowing me to develop a True Love for Music. During my Senior Year at High School I worked at the School District Service Center, I was a helper in the Accounts Payable Dept. All this thanks to my Mom, I was in her class and she would find us jobs and then teach us office related and computer skills. This was my first true job and I really enjoyed it as I learned what it was to truly hold a job. After graduating in 1998 I became Computer Tech for a computer company out of San Antonio. In 2000 I changed jobs and became a Sprint PCS retailer, through this job I met many interesting people and how to sell. I al-ways told myself I didn't want to be a salesperson, believe it or not this job was really cool. In 2002 I began to work for Sprint PCS and all the while I was still jamming with JAPY. At the end of 2003 I began working at EarthLink as a Tech Support Agent, this job was very cool and I learned so much. During the summer of 2005 I began working for Time Warner Cable as a Tier 1 Tech Support Representative. After moving up the ranks I am now currently a Tech Support Supervisor within the TSS department. |
